Scott Balson is the co-founder of The Electric Bicycle Store (TEBS), the largest specialty retailer, by brand, of Electric Bicycles in the United States. Featuring over 13 brands, TEBS currently operates two showrooms, each with its own full service department, in Miami Beach and FortLauderdale. Scott Balson grew up in Southern California and attended The University of Denver before transferring back to USC where he majored in communications. From 1989 through 2004, Mr. Balson maintained a presence in both Los Angeles and New York City as a sales and marketing executive serving specialty and niche markets. Over the years Mr. Balson has presided over numerous product launches and developed a distribution network of over 3000 book, gift, retail and catalog accounts, throughout the U.S. and Canada.
